Inspection Points for Cooling Equipment Include:
Install gauges and check operating pressures
Check voltage and amperage to all motors
Check air temperature drop across evaporator
Check for adequate refrigerant charge and possible leaks
Check evaporator superheat
Lubricate all moving parts
Check belt and adjust tension
Check filter
Check pressure switch cut-out settings
Check electrical lock-out circuits
Check starting contactor contacts
Check all wiring and connections
Check air temperature across the condenser
Check that condensate drain is open
Inspection Points for Heating Equipment Include:
Vacuum clean burner and controls
Clean and adjust pilot assembly
Check for gas leaks in furnace
Lubricate all moving parts
Check belt and adjust tension
Check filters
Check flue pipe for proper draft
Shut down central air conditioner
Turn exposed dampers to heat position if marked
Check that crankcase heater is operating
Check all safeties
Install gauges and check operating pressures
Check voltage and amperage to all motors
Check air temperature rise across evaporator
Check for adequate refrigerant charge and possible leaks
Lubricate all moving parts
Check belt and adjust tension
Check filters
Check pressure switch cut-out settings
Check electrical lock-out circuits

All preventive maintenance customers are placed on a priority list for emergency service and any additional service or parts required are billed at 10% less than our standard charge.
Commercial preventive maintenance contracts provide quarterly, bimonthly or monthly inspections as needed. Commercial contracts are designed around the specific equipment at the installation. Please contact us for a written quote.
